Jesus Is Come in the Flesh (1 John 4:2-3, Matthew 1:1-25, Philippians 2:5-11, Hebrews 4:14-5:6)

Mike Yates, December 24, 2023
Part of the Christmas series, preached at a Sunday Evening service

I. The Incarnation is critically important because the Holy Spirit says it is true (1 John 4:2-3).
II. The Incarnation is critically important because it is how God becomes “Immanuel”—God with Us (Matt. 1:1-25).
III. The Incarnation is critically important because it is the way in which Jesus humbles himself to redeem us (Phil. 2:5-11).
IV. The Incarnation is critically important because it is how Jesus knows and serves us as our Great High Priest (Heb. 4:14-5:6).
