The Comfort of Predestination (Romans 8:29-30)

Michael Argabrite, December 17, 2023
Part of the Adoption series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Three supports, three comforts God gives to every Christian until we see him face to face, either at death or at the Consummation:
1. The Holy Spirit's presence and help in prayer (Rom. 8:26-27)
2. The providence of God, knowing that he uses all things for our good (v. 28)
3. Predestination (v. 29-30)

There is an unbreakable chain of comfort in v. 29-30, knowing that we are:
I. Foreknown
II. Predestined
III. Called
IV. Justified
V. Glorified
