David Theobald, August 8, 2026
Part of the Laurelville 2026 series, preached at a Laurelville service

Christ's redemptive work ensures that the darkness of the Fall is undone, beginning now and fully in the Consummation. And in Christ's marriage to the Church we see the fullness of what marriage is intended to be. This glorious gospel provides the model, the motivation, and the means for right relationship in marriage.

II. There are sex-specific roles, commands, in this New Covenant.
III. The gospel is what empowers everything we do.
IV. What happens to marriage in the new heavens and new earth?
