Gospel Wisdom and Power (Ecclesiastes 7:1-14)

Part of the Ecclesiastes series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

I. We need sorrow to teach us wisdom (Eccl. 7:1-4).
II. We need people who will tell us the gospel (v. 5-6).
III. Four dangers that gospel wisdom empowers us to escape (v. 7-10)
IV. Gospel wisdom is better than money (v. 11-12).
V. Conclusion: Trust the sovereign Lord in everything--sorrows and joys, trials and prosperity (v. 13-14).
