Jesus, Fulfillment of Abraham’s Promises (Acts 7:2-8)

Mike Yates, October 11, 2020
Part of the Acts series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

A closer look at Stephen's last sermon, thinking about how we learn to read the Old Testament Scriptures in light of the coming of Jesus.

I. One greater than Abraham left his homeland to receive a greater inheritance (Acts 7:2-5).

II. One greater than Abraham, though childless, has been made head of a countless multitude (v. 5-7).

III. One greater than Abraham has come with a better covenant and a better circumcision (v. 8).
