The Olivet Discourse, Part 3 (Mark 13:9-23)

Michael Argabrite, October 2, 2016
Part of the Mark series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

The two questions: "Tell us, WHEN will these things be, and WHAT will be the sign when ALL THESE THINGS are going to be fulfilled?" (Mark 13:4)

All of this is fulfilled in the 1st century, but with ongoing implications for today.

I. Persecution may be personal, just as it often was in the 1st century (Mark 13:12-13).

II. Steadfastness is proof, perseverance is evidence that Christ is in us (v. 13b).
