A Friend Called Lament (Psalm 42:1-43:5)

Jason McClanahan, August 10, 2024
Part of the Laurelville 2024 series, preached at a Laurelville service

Much like classic blues music, psalms of lament were written to give believers words to pray in the depths of heartache. Pastor Mark Vroegop says that "Lament is a prayer in pain that leads to trust in God." Read the psalms with New Testament lenses that tell the rest of the story, and let them shape our relationship with the God who knows our deepest griefs.

I. Problem

III. Path
