Jason McClanahan, August 11, 2023
Part of the Laurelville 2023 series, preached at a Laurelville service

I. The setting of Matthew 26: The Passover
II. Four benefits of the Lord's Table (tune in tomorrow for three more):
--1. The Lord's Table keeps Christ and the gospel central in the church.
--2. The Lord's Table forces the sufferings of Christ on our conscience.
--3. The Lord's Table keeps before the church the substitutionary nature of his death.
--4. The Lord's Table sets before us the fruit of the gospel: the forgiveness of sins (Matt. 26:28).
