The Sovereign LORD (Ecclesiastes 3:1-15)

Michael Argabrite, October 23, 2022
Part of the Ecclesiastes series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 shows us something of the sovereign God that "under the sun" living ignores.

I. This sovereign God is in control of every moment and every person in our lives (v. 1-8).

II. Why should we believe this (v. 9-11)?

III. Why is this good news (v. 12-13)?

IV. Three truths from 3:14:
-- God's work lasts forever.
-- God's plan is perfect; we can't improve on it.
-- God's purpose is that we fear him--that we would be in awe, worshiping and loving him for who he is.
