Reasons to Live (1 Peter 4:1-11)

Mike Yates, October 8, 2017
Part of the 1 Peter series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

I. Live for the past: Because Christ has suffered in the flesh, prepare yourself to imitate him in rejecting sin—even if that leads to suffering (1 Pet. 4:1-6).

II. Live for the future: Because time is short, wisely, soberly, and prayerfully love, welcome, and serve one another for God’s glory (v. 7-11).
