What Is a Baptist Church? Part 2: Baptism as Gospel Preaching by Immersion (Acts 2:38-39)

Mike Yates, June 7, 2015
Part of the Grace Chapel Distinctives (Sunday School) series, preached at a Sunday School service

I. Baptism is for believers—for those who have expressed faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and have begun to turn from sin and follow Him as King.

II. Baptism is a visual proclamation of the gospel, rather than a means of salvation.

III. Baptism is most biblically practiced by immersion.
