Christmas Eve Meditation (Hebrews 10:5-10, John 1:1-18)
Michael Argabrite, December 24, 2024Part of the Christmas series, preached at a Midweek Meeting service
The ancient Israelites, Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans all knew about people trying to become gods. But how--WHY--would God become a man? Why would the Creator become part of his creation?
I. How: God became flesh by the work of the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35).
II. Why: To obey and please his Father by atoning for sin as no other sacrifice could (Heb. 10:1-10).
III. Result: He has sanctified us who believe, once for all (Heb. 10: 9-10, 14).
