Righteousness by Faith Alone (Romans 10:9-13)
Michael Argabrite, February 25, 2024Part of the Great Is Thy Faithfulness: Romans 9-11 series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
How does the righteousness of faith become reality in our lives?
I. It is near already; we don't do anything to find Jesus and bring him close (Rom. 10:5-8).
II. How does someone partake in this word of faith that is near? Believe and confess (v. 9-11)!
III. How can we be sure? Because of the promise of the gospel (v. 11), the scope of the gospel (v. 12), and the certainty of the gospel (v. 13).
Our great hope: The way to be saved from our sin and judgment is to rest in Jesus.
