A Life of Hope (Romans 15:3-7)

I. We have hope because of God's unchangeable purpose in saving sinners in Christ Jesus (Heb. 6:17-20)
II. We have hope because of God's work in bringing the gospel to us in power and the Holy Spirit and conviction (Rom. 1:16, 1 Thess. 1:2-10)
III. We have hope because in Christ God has set us free from the power of sin, the penalty of sin, and in the end the presence of sin (1 John 3).
