When Unity Unravels (Acts 15:36-41)
Mike Yates, September 4, 2022Part of the Acts series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
In John 17 Jesus prayed for his disciples' unity--a unity that matches and reflects Christ's unity with the Father and the Holy Spirit. So what do we do when unity between Christians fails? Paul and Barnabas's falling out in Acts 15 gives us a starting point.
I. Note what they agreed on (Acts 15:36).
II. Note the severity of the disagreement (even as brothers) (v. 37-40).
III. Remember the end (v. 41; Col. 4:10; 2 Tim. 4:11).
