The Key to Revelation (Revelation 1:4-8)
Michael Argabrite, November 11, 2018Part of the Revelation series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
As Mike's series in Revelation resumes, we come back to the theme, the focus, of Revelation.
I. Revelation serves as a capstone for all of Scripture, showing Christ fulfilling all of God's promises.
II. Revelation is a letter written to seven real churches facing real trials.
III. Rev. 1:7 is the book's theme: Christ tells his 1st century hearers that he is coming soon in judgment--first on unbelieving Israel for rejecting him, and then on the Romans as the last world empire.
