II. Eight aspects of our new identity in Christ (2:4-10):
--A. We are a new temple (v. 4-8).
--B. We are a holy priesthood (v. 5, 9).
--C. We are a chosen people (v. 9).
--D. We are a royal priesthood (v. 9).
--E. We are the holy nation (v. 9).
--F. We are God's special possession (v. 9).
--G. We are the people of God (v. 10).
--H. We are those who have received mercy in order to proclaim God's praises to others (v. 10).
